Bad lifestyle habits can easily lead to uterine fibroids. Five types of touching people should be vigilant
Uterine fibroids are a common disease with many causes, mainly related to daily habits. Especially for susceptible women, reasonable prevention in daily life should be emphasized.
Causes of uterine fibroids
1. Age: Uterine fibroids often occur in women of childbearing age, and in women aged 30-50. Uterine fibroids are rare in adolescent women, and they atrophy or disappear after amenorrhea.
2. Obesity: Obesity can lead to metabolic disorders, insufficient periodic regulation of pregnancy hormones, abnormal menstrual cycles, affecting ovulation, and increasing the risk of uterine fibroids.
3. Pregnancy and miscarriage history: Women with a history of pregnancy and childbirth are more likely to develop uterine fibroids than women without a history of pregnancy and childbirth, and the onset age is earlier, mainly due to increased menstrual capacity and progesterone levels in the female body.
4. Smoking and alcohol consumption: Smoking and alcohol consumption can easily induce uterine fibroids. According to research, women who smoke every day are six times more likely to develop uterine fibroids than non-smoking women.
5. Excessive secretion of estrogen: The endocrine system maintains normal levels of hormones in the body, but this balance is easily disrupted by certain external factors. Compared to women in other age groups, women in the reproductive age group may experience more external stimuli, such as frequent use of birth control pills, weight loss pills, skin whitening products, or radiation pollutants. These may cause uterine fibroids.
6. Discordant sexual life: Prolonged problems in marital life can also affect the secretion levels of hormones in the body, causing chronic congestion of the uterus and posing a risk of inducing fibroids in the uterus.
7. Genetic reasons: According to the latest research data, about 20% of patients with uterine fibroids have individual chromosomes that are different from those of the general population. Some patients with uterine fibroids do not rule out genetic reasons.
8. Not having a child: The reproductive process is also a natural immune gynecological disease process for women. From pregnancy to breastfeeding, expectant mothers will not have menstruation for at least a year, and hormone levels related to the ovaries will continue to be low. The uterus will not suffer from any diseases due to endocrine reasons. But such a 'rest period' cannot be experienced by women who have not given birth, and these women are prone to hormone dependent diseases, including uterine fibroids.
