Are unmarried women prone to gynecological diseases? Inventory the top 5 common gynecological diseases in women
Many people believe that gynecological diseases are only those who engage in sexual activity after marriage. As is well known, women of any age are at risk of developing gynecological diseases. So, what gynecological diseases are unmarried women most likely to suffer from?
1、 Primary amenorrhea
As is well known, girls will experience menstruation when they are 13-15 years old, and menarche should also occur at the latest at the age of 18, when they are 12 years old. But some girls, even after the age of 18, still do not menstruate, which is primary amenorrhea.
But there are also amenorrhea after menarche, which is secondary amenorrhea.
There are three main causes of primary amenorrhea: the first type is psychological factors, such as tension, fear, worry and excessive sadness, and mental anorexia. All of these can lead to amenorrhea. The second reason is gynecological diseases, such as congenital reproductive system deficiency (no vagina, no uterus, no ovary) or underdevelopment, endometrial tuberculosis (commonly referred to as dry blood tuberculosis), adversarial ovarian syndrome, etc. The third factor is caused by physical diseases. The human body is like a machine, and the organs of the body are like a part of the machine. If a certain part breaks down, the machine will fail and cannot function properly. Similarly, suffering from certain diseases can also lead to primary amenorrhea. Among these diseases, anemia, diabetes, tuberculosis, thyroid dysfunction, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, pituitary tumor and sex chromosome abnormalities are common.
2、 No pubic hair
After puberty, due to the stimulation of sex hormones, axillary and pubic hair may appear. Under normal circumstances, pubic hair occurs around the age of 12, before menarche.
But if young girls in adolescence do not have pubic hair, they may suffer from endocrine diseases such as Turner's syndrome, simple gonadal agenesis, and testicular feminization.
3、 Pruritus of external genitalia
Married women may experience itching of the external genitalia due to vaginitis. But itching of the external genitalia can also occur in girls, which does not mean that you have any diseases. It is mainly due to long-term wearing of chemical fiber underwear, jeans, and other tightly wrapped buttocks, without paying attention to the cleanliness and hygiene of the external genitalia.
Chemical fiber or nylon underwear is airtight, local damp and hot, affecting perineal cellular respiration, causing itching. The perineum is contaminated with vaginal discharge, urine, feces, and menstrual blood. If not cleaned locally, these dirt can irritate the local skin and cause itching of the external genitalia. If the perineum suffers from psoriasis, eczema, and neurodermatitis, it can also cause itching of the external genitalia.
