Are there many people with genital warts? These four types of people are most favored by genital warts
Condyloma acuminatum is a common sexually transmitted disease caused by human papillomavirus infection, with a general incubation period of 3 weeks to 3 months. It mainly occurs in sexually active individuals aged 20-30. The damaged part of the skin is pointed and has a moist surface. Not everyone is infected with genital warts. The following four types of people are susceptible to infection. Who is the high-risk group for genital warts?
1. Sexual disharmony
The marital status is closely related to the onset and recurrence of genital warts. Long term separation between spouses, divorce of the male partner, unmarried or widowed spouse, and disharmony between spouses are prone to high-risk sexual behavior. Improper use of condoms during sexual activity can also cause genital warts.
2. Staying up late
Nowadays, young people are busy with work, and staying up late has become a common occurrence. Long term staying up late can lower immunity and lead to poor mental state. People with low immunity may be infected when they engage in extramarital or high-risk sexual activities.
3. Excessive sexual partners
Sexual behavior is the main factor in the onset and recurrence of genital warts. The more sexual partners there are, the higher the probability of developing the disease. The incidence rate and recurrence rate of condyloma acuminatum in general male staff is much higher than that of homosexuals.
4. Immunodeficiency
People with low immunity, such as lupus erythematosus, long-term use of glucocorticoids, kidney transplantation, and patients with malignant tumors, have a high incidence of condyloma acuminatum and large warts.
How to deal with genital warts?
1. Surgery or cryotherapy
Single and small warts can be removed surgically, and frozen sections are needed to check if the damaged area has been removed. A relatively small number and area of genital warts can be treated with cryotherapy. Low temperature liquid nitrogen at -196 ℃ is used to treat genital warts, promoting the necrosis or detachment of wart tissue. Generally, the interval between the two treatments is 1 week, 1-2 times.
2. Laser therapy
Laser therapy is the treatment of genital warts through cauterization, which is suitable for genital or perianal warts. Single or small amounts of multiple warts can be treated at once, while multiple or large warts can be treated 2-3 times.
3. Electrothermal therapy
Electric heating treatment is suitable for warts with a small quantity and area, mainly using high-frequency needles or knives to remove warts. Use a safe and moderate current to remove diseased tissue, and use spark discharge to remove residual lesions, but do not damage normal tissue during the operation.
