Long term abstinence can affect sperm quality:
Long term abstinence will reduce the vitality of sperm motility, or even cause some sperm to die. If sperm stay in eggs for a long time, they will also age and disintegrate, so excessive abstinence is not advisable.
Eat less of two types of spermicidal foods:
1. Milk tea
The main component of milk tea is hydrogenated vegetable oil, which is a trans fatty acid. This substance can reduce the secretion of male hormones, thereby affecting sperm activity, and may even interrupt the reaction process of sperm in the body. Therefore, it is not advisable to eat more milk tea.
2. Pork loin
Pig waist contains a considerable amount of heavy metal cadmium, which can cause toxicity to sperm and damage them. The liver, kidneys, and other foods of pigs, cows, and sheep all have different levels of heavy metals, so it is not advisable to eat more of these foods
Bad habits that affect sperm quality:
1. Smoking and drinking
Most men have the bad habit of smoking and drinking alcohol. In fact, excessive alcohol consumption can cause testicular atrophy, and smoking can also reduce normal sperm. Therefore, it is recommended to quit smoking and drinking.
2. Long term wearing of tight pants
Men should not wear tight pants for a long time, as tight pants can hinder the heat dissipation and sweating of the scrotum, causing an increase in testicular temperature and hindering blood circulation in the scrotum, leading to testicular congestion.
3. Frequent hot water baths
High temperature can affect sperm production, and frequent hot baths can increase the temperature of the scrotum. Therefore, it is recommended not to take frequent hot baths.
